I found out from a very nice reviewer that someone has lifted TWO of my stories on ff.net. While those two stories aren't on ff.net under my name they are here and have been here for years. IT was stupid and not to mention lazy to do it and I am very angry that it happened.
DO NOT under any circomstances take another author's work. Not only will you be in trouble yourself for claiming a story that isn't yours, the author itself will not take highly to someone taking his or her property.
Do not do it, or else.

The Famous Quote Challenge
The SMFFQCC is proud to present The Famous Quote Challenge. We have now bumped up from doing 50 themes, we are now doing 100 themes! That's right! 100 themes to choose from or all. Each theme is a quote from an old classic movie to a more recent movie. But that's not all. We have come up with three different tiers for you to choose from on how to respond to this challenge.
Your choices of how to respond to this challenge are:
1). The Extreme Challenge. Go daring and bold! Do ALL 100! In drabbles of course.
2). The Great Challenge. Pick any quote from the list, and use that quote in a short story. Story must be a minimum of 2,000 words. That is why it is the great challenge, make it a full blown short story using the quote you picked somewhere in the story.
3). The Simple Challenge. Choose your number of drabbles. Minimum of fifteen drabbles. You pick any fifteen, twenty five, or fifty *anything greater than seventy five, read The Extreme Challenge* and make your drabble challenge with your selection.
Questions and Answers:
What's a drabble? A drabble is a one-part story that can be anywhere from fifty to five-thousand words, but is centered around, or inspired by, a pre-set theme. Check out the drabbles category for examples.
Do I have to use a theme from the list to participate in this challenge? Yes. A theme must be chosen from the list given.
Can I use a story that I have already written? Nope.
Do I have to use the theme/quote in the story? You can use the theme in two different ways. It being a quote from a movie, you may have one of the characters in the story say it to someone or you can use it as a theme in the story. Like for instance, “Just Breathe!” - Ever After (Usagi standing just inches away from Mamoru trying to find a way to talk to him.) Doesn't have to be used in the story, but you must specify if you are using the quote as a theme or using the quote in the story.
There are so many. Do I have to do all of them? Please resort to the three choices listed above.
Am I under a timeline? Yes. You will have 9 months to respond to the challenge.
Can I do more than one response? Only with the great challenge, yes, but you have to use a different theme/quote. Don't use the same quote twice.
Ok, I know you are wondering where the list is. Well, have a gander.

SMRC Back in Action
I know, I have put the SMRC on the back burner for a year and I'm very sorry. I've simply had too much on my plate and I needed a whole day to sit and take care of this. So the final counts for the 2006 SMRC official entries have finally been tallied and we're ready to go into the voting phase. The SMFFQCC will be adding the qualified fanfics here on the archives over the next few days/week and then I'll put up the voting booth!
If you have a qualified entry that is not yet hosted here, please if you can, submit it yourself, this will speed up the process. The SMFFQCC will approve all SMRC official entries immediately. ^_^

Write a Picture Challenge
All right, this time I have decided that this challenge will not have a time frame and WILL ALWAYS be open. This is a new challenge. Here's how Write a Picture goes...
I will have a picture posted and it is up to you to think of a story evolved around that picture. One shot only. 100 to at least 1,000 words, the longer the better, but the minimum is 100. It can be a simple drabble but it must evolve around the picture that is posted.
What is this challenge?
This Challenge is where you look at the picture and write a story that evolves around that picture.
DoI have to use the picture you have posted?
Yes. You may not use any other picture for this challenge.
Can I submit a story that I have already written?
No. It has to be a new story evolving this picture.
How long do I have to finish it?
You have no time limit, this challenge will always be open.
How long must it be?
Minimum of 100 words. It can be a simple drabble, but must evolve the picture. No chapter stories, only one shots.
May I use my story somewhere else?
It's your story, you may do what you want with it,
How do you want me to submit it?
This is the format I want used:
Picture: In this case, it will be a picture of manga usagi and mamoru
May I submit more than once?
I will allow it, but it has to be completely different from what you wrote. Don't write the same thing and do it differently.
Rule/guidelines still apply to this challenge, aside from it having to be eight hundred words or more I will let slide, if it is a drabble. Anyway, here is your challenge photo:
Write a Picture
Since this is technically two photos into one, you may have the choice of evolving only Usagi, or only Mamoru, or you may use the whole photo with both of them. There sets the challenge, if you have any questions just email me. DO NOT leave a review asking a question, I won't get it. Good luck!! And I can't wait to see the results!!

I was thinking of something to liven up this place. I know that we do monthly challenges, but I was thinking of like a real extended challenge? There is no ending to it and as many authors can perticipate as they want.
We can possibly do the same thing with drabbles or something like that. While I think of something, how about the rest of you? What would you mind doing besides drabbles? Give me some suggestions.

Well...it's come to this. I never wanted to do this, but I'm being forced. I'm currently broke. Bad broke...and as some of you are already aware ever since a few months back, my hosting company has been criminally exorbitant with my hosting fees. $90+/month for all my fansites - of which I don't make any money off of and pay for out of my own pocket. My business has been helping with paying for it, but it can't support the hosting completely at my current high rate and on a personal level I'm broke. So I've added a hosting donations button - so if you're so inclined to help me keep the site online until I can work out a cheaper hosting option and get us moved to a new server that would help out a lot.
The money goes directly to my hosting company, so I can't touch it for personal means. I've set it where you can donate however much you want, but know that it's run by paypal and they take out 5% + .30 cents for every donation.
Anyhow, thanks in advance for any of you that help out and support the fansites financially until I can get on my feet and get moved to somewhere more affordable!

IMPORTANT REPOST: Your Email Address and You
Did you submit something only to have it disappear?
This website is QUALITY CONTROLLED. This means that when you submit something to the archives, someone looks at it and either approves it or declines it. It will NOT show up on the archives until it has been approved by a member of the SMFFQCC.
Due to reminder number one, having a proper working email address is imperative. Those who are found otherwise might find their account locked or deleted. We need to be able to contact you, especially if you've submitted something.
What is does "proper working email address" mean?
-It must be valid (ie actually exist)
-It must not have exceeded its quota or be too full to accept new messages
Additionally I recommend that if you feel it necessary to only allow in emails from people on a safe list (Earthlink is notorious for this), then be warned that you will not be getting messages and/or really annoying the SMFFQCC. If you annoy us a lot with submissions that have NO CHANGES, we might just suspend your account.
The current site email is SMFFQCC@smfanfiction.net, so you should add that to your safe lists to avoid emails being put in a spam folder.

As I promised, I wanted to keep everybody here in the loop on what's going on with ASMR.
The short version is that the archives will be passed over to Dejana Talis who is going to restore the library and keep the site online.
